Sinitus Tempo - Keepin’ On (ft. Substantial, Obii Say & Kitty Wong)
Well, I didn’t see this one coming. Producer Sinitus Tempo channels his inner Nujabes on his new track “Keepin’ On”, which features one of Nujabes’ principle collaborators Substantial along with one of our favorites Obii Say and vocalist Kitty Wong. This track will be featured on Sinitus’ upcoming project Majestic. Nice little inspirational music for today.

Donuts For The Villagers Obii Say
It’s almost been 6 years since the passing of the late, great, J Dilla.  I’m a bit hesitant to listen to new artists attempting to pay their homage, but this EP pleasantly surprised me.  Obii Say is a 19-year old alternative hip-hop artist hailing from Washington, D.C.  His J Dilla x Slum Village Tribute EP Donuts for the Villagers received a bit of recognition on both iHeartDilla.com and DJbooth.net.  The project features 8 tracks all produced by Dilla himself.  “Hey, I Remember You” was the first single from the project, and I really enjoyed the sound Obii created; his smooth vocals over classic Dilla beats was really something special.  I’m always excited to hear fresh new artists from the DMV.
Obii Say is currently working on an original EP with his producer Suraj.  In the mean time, he will be performing at SOB’s in NYC on March 7th along with Kooley High, BrandUn DeShay, and more for the GeneratioNext Showcase.
Enjoy.
